Nice job on the top, and very well deserved man. I’ve been playing this combo in my list for a while, I think playing foolish burial to increase the odds of opening the auto win turn 1 with substitoad is correct in a list like this, it functions pretty much exactly the same as future fusion. I also play destiny hero plasma over malicious edge, since you can support its summon much easier with dandy tokens. Plasma is a bomb that can win games on its own as opposed to malicious edge which is just a beater. Have you considered any of these options?

Trag randomly sucks. Because of the discard traps you typically have a smaller hand than preferred to make him big enough, and Econ steals monsters more efficiently, while also allowing for game shots and defense (no damage).

I never have in the past, even when I've used expensive cards in other formats. I hate how much bigger it makes the deck, and I have really good handling with a single sleeve deck, so it would take some adjusting to get used to the bigger cards. That's not to say that I won't do it in the future though.

What do you think about use foolish to have another card to send dandy? Even if dandy is in your hand, you can send treeborn in hands you dont have a way to find it, you can send a hero for miracle, i think is just a lot versatile

You need other cards for brain unless it's brain attack for game. You can play around brain control to.. how do you play around gorz... Oh wait the whole format is based of that seeing the attacking order or choosing not to caius till mp2 souly for gorz. And even that it's very meh. Gorz is a plus one cause the token. Its better to destroy floodgates than to spin them back to the top deck(opp will draw into then again) Also the only real flaw of raigeki break is that stardust dragon and prime material dragon can negate them. And synchro isnt as dominant/universal. As in when xyz came out in 2011, every deck had xyz in their extra deck, but not every deck synchros in edison and its not as easy to synchro compared to xyz, so stardust isnt always going to be on the field.

This is further evident when xyz came out, compulsory evacuation device became a trap staple in trap decks. Because virtually every deck would have something to compulse, heros = bounce their shining back and they wont get the recycle 2 heros effect, machina gadgets, bounce back their machina fortress and they have to go super neg to summon fortress again, synchro decks = everything except thought ruler/naturia barkion gonna get bounced, every other deck is gonna xyz for compulse to shit on, so compulse would never be dead

I get your reasoning, but when I play hero frogs ,my hand always feels so weak if I dont have more monarchs or econs in my hand. I feel like your trading in Alias/more traps for less power plays/lower ceiling. Thats just me though.

Do you still like to use Alius in here? I'm finding myself to brick on this card so often. You clearly have the experience with this deck and this format what's keeping you from removing him from your deck?

I think Alius is fine. Beats over Stratos, Dyna, Hamster. Also puts in a lot of work when the opponent tries to not play into Monarchs. Also makes E-Emergency Call less bricky.

What's your reasoning for not playing tragoedia? And I have been testing out plasma. with the dandelion, scape goat , foolish burial, and future fusion.its been pretty easy to set up. It has synergy with soul exchange, enemy controller, brain control and treeborn frog. I'm playing it instead of malicious edge.

Have you considered 2x Destiny Hero Malicious instead of Dandy? It gives only one body (instead of 2 tokens) but it's part of the engine (serchable with Stratos, material for Miracle). Plus, it can be better going 2nd: FuFu+Monarch is functionally Prodigy/BrainCon+Monarch. Originally i replaced the Malis for the 1200+atk Heroes to beat Dyna, but your version makes me wanna try again. What do you think?

I have considered it, but when I test it I end up with malicious in my hand and nothing to convert it, and I get mad. Or I have 2 malicious in my hand and I get mad.

How would you compare frog monarchs vs hero frogs?

hero frog has a higher ceiling and doesnt lose to getting stopped on its one normal summon per turn. I think it's overall a better deck. Frog monarch is simple and can really steamroll people, but it is very predictable and easily stopped.
