@@LordBaldur the pandemic episodes, elementary school musical, the ungroundable, and Britney’s new look were stinkers. But other than those five, the rest of the season wasn’t too different from seasons 4-11 when it came to classic episodes, Tonsil trouble and Over-Logging were gold.

@@livinlikelarry3051 you're close but really the absolute peak is seasons 8-14, Medicinal Fried Chicken is an all timer, Fishsticks, Creme Friche, Scrottie McBoogerballs, and of course the legendary and unstreamable 200 and 201. 14 is arguably the greatest season so that has to be included in the peak, but I'm a fan of all the first 18 seasons.

Cartman put a lot of work into this… all to make his story engaging enough that the rest of the class, including Stan, would pressure Kyle into letting him continue the story. Honestly gotta give him props for that 😂

When I was in middle and high school I was a lot like Cartman in this episode in writing over the top stories featuring other students in my class but not usually myself. That and the insane twist it puts on wholesome Christmas TV specials is why this is one of my favorite episodes.

For those of us who grew up in the 80s, there were these Christmas specials by Rankin/Bass. They were cheesy as hell, but awesome and I still watch them as a middle aged lady. But they had this kind of set up where there is a Christmas problem and a hint of magic. So this was extra funny to me. Dunno if Matt and Trey were referencing those old specials, but it sure felt like it

According to commentary from matt and trey they had no idea what to do and feared they needed to cancel the airing of the episode. Then this crazyness got put together on the last bit of the week and the animators thought they were going crazy in the writers room... :D

critters are Cartman's imaginations, pure evil from the inside with a shell body to cover their sinful way of plans, so don't judge a villain by their book cover, a true villain can't be seen by regular eyes to know about them from the outside, when the critters have their cellphones and social media accounts, that would be real chaos than meet the eye to humanity, Professor Chaos is like Megatron in fury against politic, critters, and Cartman are like evil horsemen four, Lex Luthor, Baxter Stockmen, any evilest villain ever.

Stan's actions could defeat any woman by anger and sharp edge attitude toward people, this is how he endangers his family and lose his mother and sister by his own attitude when his father becomes a farmer in many conflicts or dealing with frustrations. Don't be a beach caller against the feminine energies, the fight isn't as worthy as we think that is, whether how bad and suck the enemies perform on us, be patient and calm from the pain that we suffer, action and fury can only create remorse and harms by being just Dick or Dick ButtHole to treat people.

didn't care for this episode. I remember the first time I saw it. was at my girlfriends place after school, her mom sold TiVo (it was an early popular "record television to a hard drive" device) and so they had one. me and her usually watched Adult Swim stuff but for once she had South Park, and it was this episode. she loved it, i hated it.
