A long time ago I was staying in a vacant home. I cleaned it painted over the graffiti and kept the vandals out. One day the owner showed up he was so shocked by the work I'd done he began paying me a small fee to stay in his empty properties. When it got rented out he put me in another. It's how I got back on my feet

As a parent of a deceased child, its not uncommon to maintain your child's room in an orderly fashion through the mourning process. When I look at the child's room I get a sense of a child passing away. My gut is telling me the squatter is a parent who is still grieving. I felt a sense of sadness in the home. Thank you for sharing, your talents on KZbin. You're an amazing photographer🙂. Many blessings to you.

I don’t think so ... God bless you and my heart goes out to you omg. I can’t imagine Your pain and how hard it is every day . But my prayers will surely be lifted up for you💜🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. I think this home is condemned pending elaborate costs to fix either structural issues or anything of medical significance, they can cause damage to inhabitants . It’s as though work has been done and slowed or halted and at times insurance company can say it’s too much to fix and not allow owners to do much about it , when costs are so much that no one will get the work done. The pool area alone looks like hazardous condition . And tne filming is so bad , it’s hard to really tell . But considering they left everything idk .. and this is a side note , idk how the man is saying about the picture frames being generic. Like he knows ... I wish people would not just to thru someone’s home. It can be months to years at times where owners are forced out of their homes to allow for work to be done or decisions to be made snd they’re posing Potential risk to their health being in there .. bc who knows if there were initially things blocked off. Uh Again he said about the “generic “photos .. as if he knows anything. Regardless , there’s a reason for everything .. snd I wish he’d just shut up and stop recording in a place that doss not belong to him.

Why would someone just up and leave a beautiful house like that with all the furniture etc? Why is it not up for sale or rent, obviously you had permission to go in unless the doors where open? Didn’t you get information about it and find out who the owners are? Frustrating you don’t investigate the complete building by opening closets and doors? Also I would be looking under the beds, every nook and cranny. You have the voice of a cop... lol that’s why they may not show themselves thinking it’s a trap? Or maybe they are out buying more pizza and a vacuum cleaner? Lol 😂. Sadly it’s just a matter of time until the scum of the Earth start vandalising this beauty. 😭😡

My husband got a new job 3 hours away from our home that we had a mortgage on. We paid someone to stay there and watch over it for us while it was for sale. Unfortunately neither one of us are business minded and trusted the people when we shouldn't have. Most of our things were left there until we could come back and get them. They ended up leaving our house open and didn't stick around. They stole alot of our things but there were some things left behind. It became a place for anyone and everyone going through it. It broke my heart. You just never know the circumstances around someone's home. I always feel sad watching these videos just because I know how terrible it feels to have strangers in your home.😔 And on the other hand for some reason I don't know if maybe it's just the mystery or what but abandoned places are mesmerizing. Sometimes though they are not abandoned just in transition.

If I were a squatter in an abandoned place, I would clean up the place and be respectful of others' belongings.
@noralynn63184 жыл бұрын
Yeah! They should clean up!
@HottieAt534 жыл бұрын
@@noralynn6318 I don't see that they have been disrespectful of the house at all. A few empty pizza boxes and bottled water doesn't mean they aren't taking care of it. They haven't ruined any of the rooms. Looks like they are only using the 1 room

That's an impressive mansion. What state is it in? The pair of giant oriental vases are awesome. I'll bet the large hanging chandelier by the stairs is spectacular when turned on. Only $2,000,000 and a free squatter tossed in as an added bonus, eh? What a bargain! I've got to say that Lume Cube really lights things up. It's amazing. Thanks for the great tour!

Looks like it's staged to sell.
@Meriale464 жыл бұрын
Or here's a thought... maybe it was just sold and the person or people who bought it are moving in slowly... many wealthy people buy new furnishings when they buy new homes and they may just stay there once in a while, while they buy new stuff or are able to move everything else in.

That house was incredible but how weird were the photo frames with the generic pictures in them? Odd. That squatter must have left a while ago as the pizza box’s had a date of July 19 so probably gone or not had pizza 🍕 for a while. Could of heard you and scarpered, 😱🤣 the leaves must have blown in when that door was open, I would have tried the door and the lights and the water 💦 great find 🌹

The only reason I can’t get into it enough to subscribe is you guys never have enough info on the mansions that ruins it for me. I think you guys should be better research and give good accurate backstorys on what lead to the present abandoned state

I appreciate your honesty, l have watched two of your videos so far and I'm hooked. This mansion is stunning from the outside but not so much on the inside. The blue wall is hideous and so is some of that haunting furniture. I think the squatter was under the bed in the childrens room. Watching from Australia!

I'm watching this from BC. It's amazing this place isn't being lived in. What hooked me was the basic layout upon entering the house. From what I can recollect as a kid in Montreal,it sure reminds me of our house with the catwalk n chandelier n all. Cool place.
