Frank, this morning I finished a harsh 2 hour workout. Came home and needed to relax before work. Saw that you posted this. Frank, in all honesty, your skill set and track selection are becoming the best on KZbin. Mix has it all. Your transitions are seamless and you know when to bring in tracks hard. You always kill it with the introductions. Something I don't have in my catalogue. Really enjoyed this set and couldn't think of any way of making it better. You told a story and that story was grand. I couldn't even fall a sleep listening to this mix because it was intricate in its mixing. I kept asking myself is this a new track or what. Thanks for the link. Will be listening to this over again in the following days.

I mean this comment to be nothing but helpful criticism. Maybe it's just not my favorite genre of techno. Seems to go on longer than I would like. The beats sound great, I personally like quicker mixes.

To elaborate. I would mix the best parts (in my opinion) of this. For example 13:00 - 13:30. Again not trying to be negative. Just trying to compare our styles. I would kill to play music with you and James.

Brannon Hergruder, the genre is progressive breaks. Most progressive breaks DJ tend to mix seamless and the mixing skills here are nothing short of amazing. Every genre has it's own methods of mixes. Yes, he could have made for more abrupt mixes but that shows no mastery within mixing. Listen to DJ's like Sasha & Digweed. Progressive music, in general, goes for long and sophisticated mixes. Listen to progressive breaks mixes on KZbin. You will see they go for long transitions. Many of them don't do it as well as Frank.

@@ErwinSchrodinger64 All mixes are supposed to be seamless... I understand that all genres have different ways of mixing. I'm not interested in going listen to your favorite progressive Djs. I said a few times how this may not be my favorite genre of techno. Frank is passionate about his music and I appreciate that. When I play music I like to mix when the time is right. A real dj knows when the beat is supposed to drop.. I like trance to dark breaks to whatever else. Just my style. If your mixing and its abrupt, you messed up. I would like to see you play music.
