It ain't easy.
This mix commemorates over 25 thousand miles on the road with my wife moving our entire lives to our new home in "The Gulch". Five times from Baton Rouge to Kellogg spanning 9 months, and it was delight every time. So here is my mix I made for the drive.

Frank, so sorry for chiming in so late. With Hurricane Ida, teaching at the local university has been incredible busy. I've listened to this several times. OK, so, impeccable mixing. I noticed that you're going through a spectrum for really organic to "techy" to heavy trance to almost psy breaks with Sergei Orange. Really nice touch bring in classics like Dave Brennon - Drink Deep (Zabiela Vox Version). It's a hypnotic break and its aged so well. Still play it to this day. Dougles Hayworth - Sliced Bread in Serious Trouble was another nice touch with classics. Where I really lost it was with Way Out West - Melt. Completely forgot about that Way Out West album. Oh, and the 1080 (60fps) makes the visuals look really nice.

Your kind words are always welcome, my friend. I've been busy myself, moving to our new dream home. Not much time to put mixes together and make videos between work and driving 5,000 miles round trip. But as you can see by the thumbnail for the video, it's worth it. That is the view from our living room! We're living the "Gulch Life" now, baby! I'm glad you enjoyed the set. "Melt" is one of my all time faves. It's amazing how many of the great classics still sound modern and relevant when mixed with the latest tracks. Stay tuned for the next one I'm going to post by my buddy, Joe Wink. It's gonna be a gem!
