Marea and I met in Palestine around 5 years ago now. I call her my rave shaman. I think she’s that for a lot of other people too to be honest! Her ability to tell stories and share things has always been a particularly beautiful part of her beautiful mind so I guess it makes sense that i ended up making a song out of sampling one of our conversations! Im a nurse. I worked all through the pandemic. My daughter had to live with her dad for 3 months while i went to work in a nursing home. We were fed to the dogs, no help etc. I would drive to work listening to Annie Mac, Radio 1. I first heard this on the day i kissed goodbye to my daughter, in her dad's care, while i went into the unknown. I didnt know if i would ever see her again (we were all so terrified back then, if you remember). I sobbed all the way down the Rainford bypass, then, this came on. I sobbed, but with a different emotion. This song kept me going through all the craziness. I dont think I'll ever be able to listen to this song and not feel that same emotion. Ever. And I'm glad, i want to remember it. The most emotive song i think i will ever hear. What an iconic piece of musical history. Thank you Fred Again ❤ xxx

Haha, i don't know its like a virus this kind of music, i mean many people don't understand what's with this electronic house music, and i meaning all the types (techno, tech, deep, minimal, etc), i have this shit in my blood from my dad, is almost 50 yo now but trust me he is listening much more house music then me(so u got my respect man), I'm raving and going to underground and private parties since i was 15,I'm 26 this year and still having many plans with Ibiza boat parties and privates villas and so on, my son was made 1 year recently and i really belive that he will gonna understand this culture.

This song when it came out made me feel so much things, even now when relistening to it and transported back. In de midst of the covid pandemic, restrictions on social life, people being divided and isolated. I was living at a cohousing farm at the time, with my then gf whi’s a dj and played this track more than once on the small social circle parties we held to get through these rough times. I’m sure this song hits other people just the same, each colored by their individual stories of how they experienced this strange period in their lives. Thank you Fred 🙏🏻

This is the strongest track ever! We will never forget what happened to us. We didn’t just lose dances in covid... Unfortunately, we lost relatives and friends. We lost hope that we could return to normal life without masks and antiseptics and social distance. I lost my mom from covid. Thousands of stories like covid killed young and old. He took fathers and mothers from children. As people did not have enough equipment and oxygen, as there were not enough doctors for everyone. How doctors died at work near their patients. Thank God we got through it all. This is truly a holiday for me with tears in my eyes. For me, this song sounds like this - we lost friends, lost fathers and mothers. No matter how hard it is now, we need to move forward. We will have dancing again, soon, you just have to wait, you just have to win and there will be dancing again. Dancing to this track all night I feel alive like never before, my heart beats again and I feel love again...
