Can someone with better ears tell me what Fred said at 2:14 that got a laugh? I've played it back five times and can't make it out. I heard "Finally were going to skip over to the (indecipherable) for now." Basically I'm after that one word, it sounds like "leave" which I'm sure I'm not hearing correctly. Thanks in advance.

There was nothing said at 2:14. You must have the time wrong he had stopped talking because a car was driving by. Kidding he used the language of Belarus which has a word that perfectly explains the reason behind his statement. Don’t hear many people speak Belarusian, thanks for the comment. The reason you didn’t hear it is because Belarus was set up as a spy, network town, before becoming a country and they used words that blended in with the background of conversation so that they couldn’t be overheard if eavesdropping. Only Belarusian trained spies know this technique, which makes me ponder in did he slip and say that or he just heard an actual spy use it and decided to use it in a very public setting 🤔🤷‍♂️ And Belarus started out as a Town that became so popular because there were so many interesting people living there being spies and stuff that it grew into a country over time . They basically did what Rome tried to do.

This is an astounding level of talent Like a pserson describing regional dialect while accurately using each specific accent I think he also has a tight five on this same deal, but guitar Being able to replicate the sound, but thru doing a 3 second gibberish example. Sheer briliance

ok I am genuinely not trying to be mean, but has ANY interesting music ever come out of Italy?! That absolutely killed me

When you say “has any interesting music” do you literally mean ANY, like ever? Because, not limiting it to rock etc, the answer is yes.

Some of the most popular Opera music in existence is Italian. Luciano Pavarotti is Italian and I can't think of a more popular Opera singer than him.

What is it with people feeling a need to make loud noises in the crowd? Cheering I get, but hearing adults making noises like little kids. It's embarrassing. Imagine being that individual, yikes. Embarrassing.

That's excitement and enjoyment being expressed in a large group of excited people enjoying a shared experience I'm sorry you find sounds of joy embarrassing

No, it's attention seeking entitlement. Your definition of an expression of “joy" doesn't trump any one else's joy of listening to a performance without having to suffer stupid vocalizations being screamed into their ear that have zero appropriate context for the situation.

Evidence of how rudimentary (i.e., boring) punk rock drummers are.
@billyladdy6910
@billyladdy6910 10 ай бұрын
Your opinion*. Funk, Soul, Blues, Rock is all rudimentary stuff in it's core, but with players in every genre who plays with more "virtuosity", just like punk. I would say give Soundgarden a listen, from technichal punk to simple punk songs! (plus the importance of being a great "rudimentary" drummer can't be understated ie. James Browns legendary funk drummers or M. Cameron from Soundgarden)

@@billyladdy6910 Comparing Soundgarden to punk? Soundgarden is most definitely not punk - at least not since the 80s (Cameron is an excellent drummer - far better than any punk drummer). They may have had punk leanings early on but I don't hear punk in their last three albums... and the drummers for James Brown had far more groove and style than any punk drummer. The issue I have with punk is that simplicity and energy isn't necessarily compelling music to listen to - at least for me. As you stated... my opinion. I'm an old fart and I grew up during the 70s. Punk back then was just... play simple repetive lines very fast, very loud, over and over... It just didn't do anything for me. I found Jazz fusion or prog rock more compelling to listen to - more complex - but not crazy complex like some of the modern prog out now. Let me put it this way... you don't find many punk drummers in any top ten drummers lists... I'd take Steve Gadd, Carl Palmer, John Bonham, Chadd Wackerman, Neil Peart, Phil Collins, etc. over any punk drummer. All that said... Fred Armisen is a very funny guy and I do think this bit is funny. He does the same bit on guitar.

@@charlesdbruce Ty Cobb By Soundgarden, Kickstand by Soundgarden. I could go on. Everyone in Soundgarden is old punk rockers who dug Black Sabbath as well man. I still feel what i feel about what i said though. You are completely in your right to feel how you feel! It’s just not ”evidence” enough sorry. Have a good one!
