Wow, I was not expecting this, and it's almost moving me to tears. No joke. To hear him say "Im not that strong anymore" is sad. I love the way he talks for his age. What a different world for him now. Thank you for posting. Oh, my really? 65!

Golf channel needs to do a documentary about Fred. His level of play for 40 years is absolutely incredible. He didn’t win a ton, but he’s the best pure striker of the ball in his generation.

I bet there is the most incredible scuba diving off that beach...... great golf to watch too. Love Freddy's swing!!!! If I could play a round of golf with any pro golfer in the world...it would be Freddy. Great and fun personality too.

I could watch Fred all day long. His swing is art. It is a treasure, like the Mona Lisa. People will travel from all over to see his swing. And now they'll come to hear him speak. Fred? Speak? Who knew he was such a chatterbox. But he knows so much about golf. And whatever changed, he now likes to talk. I've been watching Fred play from before he ever won anything, and I still think it is the prettiest swing. Sure we have Sam and Ben, Gene Littler, Tom Purtzer (gorgeous), Louis Oosthuizen (same), Steve Elkington, etc. I'd rather watch Fred. There's just something magical about his tempo that every golfer admires.

I walked 18 holes with Fred in his first tournament after turning pro at El Dorado CC in Long Beach Ca. I didnt even know who he was. No galleries etc. Fred was doing the same thing with his driver....kicking up a tuft of grass and then hitting his driver off that. corey Pavin was his playing partner.

Well dude you said you got to hang out with CC. That is awesome. What about Fuzzy? The game of golf will turn any man into a fine human being. Golf it's a game where you learn yourself... Thank you.

Somebody help me out here. The sign says it’s a 427 par 4. Freddie’s caddy said he had 177 to the front. That means Freddie hit his 5 WOOD 250 yards?!? He then hit a 6 hybrid 70 yards shorter than his 5 wood?? I LOVE Freddie but if he is hitting a 5 wood 250 then he is on the wrong tour.
@xld00d3 ай бұрын
It is down hill to the ravine and he hit it right off the tee, so he really cut the corner. #8 will eat balls from long drivers because it’s down hill. You heard Couples talking about it. The chicken way to play is draw it left away from the water and take the long way around. At least that’s what I would do.

The object of the game is to get the ball in the hole with the least amount of shot's possible, so what tools you use to achieve that is irrelevant.
