Honestly due to United's recent bad form we criticize Fred a lot bcoz he does not have much fame or anything but in the last week and reccently, due to tactical play under Ralf we have seen him show his best performances. Just a bit more time till we actually respect him. He can be the best option for the defensive mid for United and at the same time contribute for fast counter attacks.

i think solskjaer improved him a lot as a player, but couldn't utilise him well because of his tactics and average managerial skills. the same goes for bailly and mctominay who have both improved their technical abilities under solskjaer, but they look so much better under rangnick.

His passing is inconsistent. Progressive passing and progressive carries isn't fantastic. He just gives a bit of energy and running. With McFred in the midfield both their progressive passing is terrible, United have no conductor in the middle of the pitch and people wonder why we can't dominate possession or control games.
