Exactly! Matic was horrendous that match in terms of his positioning. Fred did slip up a few times but overall he wasnt that bad. He even pressured adam Armstrong on the counter to stop him scoring. A centre back pairing of Klavan and Lovren was never winning the league and a cdm partnership of Fred and McTominay, Fred and Matic or Matic and McTominay isn't either. VDB never gets used. The only way that happens is if Bruno, Pogba, McTominay and Fred suffer long term injuries. Even then, he isn't guaranteed
