This mix really shows Fred's true artistry. He establishes a mood and then continually evolves and deepens it by layering track over track, I'd imagine 3 or 4 decks in this mix... improvising and building that suspense and discomfort around the 40 minute mark, and then hitting us with that quintessential cosmic groove at 52:00 . If you ever have the chance to see Fred live, DO IT. It's an other-worldly experience and one I don't think i'll ever forget.
