Roy Perry did us all a great service in arranging this piece. I treasure my copy and I always remember him when I play it. I met him when I was a teenager.

I would love playing this piece on a pipe organ!

I don't think anyone has ever played this great piece better. I've heard Mr. Swann play it a number of times, and he's never failed to move me deeply. It should be said, too, that he played it regularly when few others did...

Agreed -- I think in some ways he helped establish it as a staple of the great concert repertoire.

Rest in peace William Teague. William Teague performed this work for the second pre-dedicatory concert at The Auditorium Organ in January, 1960. Aeolian Skinner, opus 1309, Independence, MO US. The Aeolian Skinner instrument heard in this recording is opus 1308. Oh dear, no no no, this is bad. Sounds like an American is playing it.
