Dead Moon - what an inspiration! In music and life, full of energy and humanity. and humbleness. Had the pleasure and of talking to them again and again over the years after their shows, their upbeat humour ans depth still impress me today. Toody, cant wait to see you in Berlin soon! Your music is missed. And needed!

I saw DM in '92 at the provincial in Dunedin NZ - still have one of Andrews broken drumsticks - then again in '96 and we had them at our warehouse flat and talked music, intoxicants, music, life and into the night/morning. Very special memories and now Fred and Andrew are gone to the great gig in the sky knowing they touched thousands and thousands of people in their music, Thanks Toody, Fred and Andrew.

Late to the party here....I very much appreciate the opportunity to listen to Fred and Toody share their values, observations, and suggestions for happiness. I live just north of where Fred and Toody called home and am lucky enough to have met them briefly and experience them live in concert (with Kelly Haliburton on drums). Thank You Very Much for posting this great interview. Much Respect for Fred, Toody, Andrew, and Kelly.

A lot of words of wisdom and at the same time at the end it almost sounds like he's justifying what the crooked politicians do by putting themselves at the top of their own pyramid. I guess logic is cyclical like that

Hmm. I think I understand what you're saying, but respectfully disagree. I think what Fred is attempting to hammer home here is that you cannot truly take care of anyone else if you're not taking care of yourself first. That self care in itself is radical.
