Excellent presentation on one of the VERY best midsize sedans there is. Reliable to the core. I have NEVER heard of anyone having mechanical issues with a Camry. The presenter seems like a really nice person. Not overly pushy like many car sales reps. Looking forward to the 2024 Camry review!!

Great videos Christina! I keep asking Jeff to let us hear the horn! That should be part of the review. I bought a 2021 RAV4 and was disappointed to hear how wimpy it sounds! I had to upgrade it to a truck horn! Sounds much better now! Lol

Toyota needs to fix the b pillar weld rattle issue inside the seatbelt assembly. Just got a 23 and have this ticking in the b pillar. Further research shows it’s been a problem since 18 model

Is the XLE a better deal than the XSE?
@johnsguitarmusicanddemos2 жыл бұрын
I’ve been undecided between this Toyota Camry and the AWD version compared to the Toyota Highlander XLE all wheel drive. Toyota has really changed the game these past few years.

Very hard to find the xle model
@charlesjackson17002 жыл бұрын
You mostly have to find them and Transit.. I bought a new Camry XLE in Wind Chill Pearl white and my sister bought a new XSE the same color. They both were 37 k Plus. You can't make no deal anymore.
@cedricmiller4370 Жыл бұрын
I like Camrys they drive very smooth and peppy at same time but like most bachelors would agree that 37k is too much for a Camry and would prefer a mint condition Mustang GT or other sports car at that price point

@Fred Anderson Toyota: The XLE seems to be the Rodney Dangerfield of the Camry trim lines, it gets no respect. Yet, it seems to be a great value at $31k. It exudes class and luxury as you mentioned in the video and not the NASCAR styling of the XSE and TRD trims. I like that the back row folds down if needed even though the standard trunk space seems very spacious. Keep up the good work. Would love another look at the Corolla Cross XLE model as it close in pricing when equipped with options such as AWD. Thanks!
@charlesjackson17002 жыл бұрын
The XLE trim models are sold before they get to the lots the same as the XSE . The same car other than the bottom part of the front grill.. and they are quieter and smoother. I don't know where you come up with your sad story.. It is one of the best trims. The TRD is nothing but an SE with a V6 that is stripped of options you cannot even get homelink /rear view mirror dimmer or a sunroof. From what I have read on the internet it is the Rodney Dangerfield of the Camrys. You pay more for it and get a lot less...

No... It uses regular grade fuel.. All trim levels including the V6.

I know this is the 2022 Camry, but still enjoyed the "tour" because we are factory-ordering our 2023 XLE AWD in the new Reservoir Blue color (black leather interior). We wanted our new Camry to NOT have a sunroof or Navigation, so we will take delivery post-vacation in early May. Here's why we are sold on 2023 Camry -- the redesigned 2023 Accord (we are currently driving a 2020 Accord Touring) is awful. Since it's only Hybrid (same Touring model as we have now), the driver's seat is shorter and therefore my 6'3" frame can't fit into it.

Other than reliability and dependability, I've never been a fan of Toyota or any Asian import, especially as I've gotten older. The styling never grabbed me. They always seemed like teenager cars. As my chronic pain has gotten worse, it seems like every automaker has tried to make their own Toyota-styled replica, which means sporty cars that are wildly uncomfortable made for 16 year olds. I'm not that old, but my chronic pain says otherwise. Having said that, amazingly, Camry might be one of the more comfortable cars I've test driven. The most comfortable new car I've owned is a Chrysler 300C back in 2008, and that includes a brief stint with a new E63S that was wildly uncomfortable, even in "comfort mode." Talk about false advertising. Granted, this is an XLE, not an XSE, and I understand there's a difference in ride quality. It's bad enough that cars haven't offered truly comfortable velour interiors for 30 years, but the fact that one of the most comfortable cars is made by Toyota should be embarrassing to other automakers, especially Cadillac and Lincoln. Some don't even make sedans anymore. The Zoomers are taking over, and sadly, none of them can afford to pay for my pain meds. My only criticism is that for some idiotic reason, the XSE comes in all wheel drive and the XLE doesn't, which, as a brief fan of Fast and the Furious in 2001, makes zero sense to me. The comfortable car should be AWD and good in the snow.

It's the oatmeal ride of the Automotive World. If being healthy and comfortable is your mission, this Camry couldn't be better. But if you're wanting safety, quality build, durability, great resale, cheap replacement parts later in life and lots of Fun To Drive, then you may also want to consider Honda, or Mazda. I sold many brands. Lexus, Honda, Toyota, Acura and Mazda would be my only considerations. I mean no other brands, PERIOD!!!

What about a 2022 Corolla Hatchback with 6 spd. manual transmission with blind spot warning system? How comfortable is the ride on real world bumpy roads on Corolla hatchback vs. the Camry sedan? The Camry only comes in sedan style only? Which has more storage space with both seats down the Camry sedan or the Corolla hatchback? Is there a big difference in road noise and engine noise on freeway between Corolla hatchback and Camry Sedan? The Corolla hatchback with 6 spd. manual still gets better gas mileage than the 8 spd. automatic Camry sedan? What are the vehicle weights between these two cars: Corolla hatchback vs. Camry Sedan? Between the Corolla hatchback with 6 spd. manual and the Camry sedan with 8 spd. automatic trans. which car has faster acceleration 0-60 times and top end speed?
