I always assumed Charlie had to be dead first, since she's the one who 'gifts' the animatronics with life in the first place. She must be the one with that power, and Evan being the first didn't make sense unless the animatronics could just always absorb the soul of anyone they killed.

I like to consider that the blueprints from there may have gotten mixed up at some point and incorporated into fredbear's design. Either that or the current running idea of the animatronics being designed exclusively as hosts for ressurection later down the line.

Why this series hits differently. It does not only rely on the horror aspect of the FNAF lore as it’s main driving force. This one also has a sense of sadness and empathy towards the animatronics/kids and its portrayed so well with the movements and sounds that Fredbear makes. It gives a machine emotions. Remember the real monsters are not the animatronics nor the spirits trapped inside them. It’s the adults (William).

Fantastic episode. I love the flash back conversion between Evan and William how it transitions between the "present" and a couple hours before. William is a caring dad, but is busy with his work in this story as of right now.(We all know what happens later.) Now a big question is this: What's specifically is in the box? I am in love with this series and the way it absolutely sucker punches me in the feels every time. For me, it's all the subtle little details that keep catching my eye - like how Freddy's eye(s) often looking at Evan, Henry having a southern accent, Williams 'party' tie, Evan having sympathetic tears at 1:38, the Princess Quest arcade cabinet. The tiny whisper of 'you're insane, Mr' at 2:44. Gods, now I'm imagining William coming back to the diner and in a rage starts to bash the animatronic that killed his boy...unable to hear the silent 'It's Me' screams...not knowing that his child's soul is trapped in the very thing he's destroying. Adding rage to the existing agony and only reinforcing the trap poor sweet Evan is in.

The VA for Evan sounds real appropriate for this episode. Liked the touches with William and Henry discussing the past. Not sure how I feel about William presenting the puppet as a present to Evan, but I blame being a bit of a loyalist for the original series events. I was honestly expecting it to be a foxy costume or something. Surprised that Michael hasn't popped up yet, or his friends. I'm sure that'll come with time. Kudos for the creative choices you made, I think it takes guts to tear yourself away from the canon of something just to put your own spin on it. I'm really excited to see what this turns into, hopefully more is in the works.

This was so worth the wait! I love how you characterize William as someone that loves his family but tends to get caught up in his work. I also like Henry’s character. Someone who has a lot of passion for his work, sometimes too much for his own good. Yet the way he snapped at William was interesting. Either Charlie is already dead or Mrs Emily just left. Also interesting how what’s implied to be a Puppet is an Afton hairloom. Really looking forward to learning more about that. The way it kept transitioning to the present for a moment was perfect. Fredbear sounded like he was whimpering or crying amidst the gasping for air. Which would be appropriate. Judging by the finishing line, Evan is probably hoping and waiting for his father to come back like he always does.

I was never into FNAF as a kid but always aware of it. I've been learning about it more as the movie was announced, trying to get into the fandom a bit to understand it. Most of the VHS series are just too much for me. Too much gore or reliance on shock/scare. This, on the other hand, gets me so genuinely excited. I love that you're focusing on Evan/the crying child as a character rather than a plot device. Henry and William have been fantastic as well, and I'm excited to see what you do with Michael. You know what I love the most about this? The FNAF lore is there, but it doesn't rely on it. The designs give me JRs vibes, the way Fredbear moves, and has blood and "cries" when William says his famous line made me gasp. I love how each character has personality, and when I watch the series, I forget I'm watching a video and not a movie. It's that good!

It's hard for me to tell since he doesn't say much, but in some of Evan's lines I think you can hear his father's accent shining through his own american-sounding one, especially on the vowels. Whether this was intentional or not I can't tell, but if it is, that is a fantastic detail and a great performance from the actress(?). The accent could be the other way around, or I could just be hearing things, either way amazing stuff man!

It's a good take on the character. Rather than being so cartoonishly evil that even Maleficent would tell him to take a chill pill, this version of Afton isn't all that bad, for now at least. A bit stern, cold with more than a few bad vibes (some of his movements here made me shudder, they reminded me of what he will inevitably become...), and spends too much time away from his kids as you said, but he seems to genuinely care for Evan. When the infamous Bite finally happens in this series, it's going to be soul-crushing for everyone I can already tell.

I like that William is actually killing kids during the time his son gets bit by Freddy. It brings a certain nuance to it that I haven't seen while playing the games. Charlie is already dead and probably so is the other 9 kids at the other locations. Elizabeth is probably already dead too at this point

I highly doubt the missing kids and Elizabeth are dead. The MCI is basically confirmed to have taken place in 1985. And Circus Baby’s only opened after Freddy Fazbear’s CLOSED. As of right now, none of the locations have closed.

The way William speaks about the other 5 locations and his dialog with Henry about his work seems like a double entendre. I could be wrong about Elizabeth, but if this is following the lore from the games, Elizabeth isn't seen until sister location but she's missing in the minigame in fnaf4 and we can only see her bedroom. I do think William has already been up to no good tho. Just the fact that Charlie is dead says as much

Besides, she could be elsewhere.

I know that this isn't official fnaf but I've got a theory. William says "we can't give life to it yet". If you look closely near the end of the video what appears to be a black hand with three fingers comes out slightly and slides across under the lid of the gift. Now when all these are added up, one thing comes to mind, the puppet. Now the scene with the hand appears just before one of the transitions from Evan to Evan Freddy, hence it foreshadows Evan becoming Golden Freddy as the puppet, gave him life. So this is showing us that the puppet is the gift of life. Its very interesting that the puppet was interpreted as the Afton heirloom but I suppose it would make sense given that in a sense, William through his actions gave life to the animatronics. Keep up the great work Ryan!

I like how William is sort of shrouded in cool colors as to not be completely, literally purple, but still give him a tint of it. The lighting is really good. The animatronics look awesome, too. They actually look like they'd be in an animatronic pizzeria in the 70s-90s like Rockafire Explosion. That's one of my biggest peeves woth FNaF, they don't look like real animatronics. These look like they'd be presentable to kids, but still be off. Like something's wrong with them.

There's something... creepy about the way the humans move. But like, in a good way. They move almost like animatronics in their own right, stiff and a bit awkward. But it's perfectly juxt opposed to the way Fredbear moves, which is clearly so detailed and expressive even without facial animations that you KNOW it's intentional. 10/10 series so far, hot damn.

Okay that that's done, I feel for the poor kid and man it's going to be potentially painful to see his head being bitten like a snickers by Fredbear. I am really enjoying this series and how the animatronics look, out of curiously not sure if you have mentioned this before or not but will you only focus on the Bite incident or would you branch out on other events such that have occurred, let's say from the other restaurants such as Lizzy getting to become her OC for the rest of her life or Michael become a become a costume for his sister the funtimes. If you can't share atm, that's perfectly fine. I just really love your work and would be interested in seeing how you would make these and other events look. Sorry for any rambling it's just tends to happen when I'm exited over something.

@jakeryansouthgate Now that I have seen the episode, I have to say I really love the visual change and how it goes from present to past. I can also probably tell that Henry is dealing with the loss of either Charlie or someone else maybe his wife but I'm guessing Charlie since if William saying he has been busy for an entire week I'm thinking that wasn't any business trip and instead was William trying to increase his Kill streak by making some unfortunate children victims to his hands. Might explain why Henry seems to be so caring of CC since they might have been near Charlie's age and his way of coping might be to latch on and care for someone. One wonders if Henry had taken the Afton kids from William and how that might have turned out. And before I end it, I guess Michael might be jealous of CC since he seems to get his father's attention the point that CC is getting a family heirloom instead of him despite him being the oldest. Poor kid probably never asked to be his father's focus, and Michael probably was too young to understand his emotions all that well and probably lashed out on the poor kid. Anyways better stop my rambling ha ha.

I love the two referencing things they've actually said. Henry saying "old friend" like in fnaf 6 and William saying "I always come back" like in just about everything

i love the slight difference in lighting hitting the characters, the warmer orange light falling on henry and the cold blue-purple on william. very subtle but such a cool reference to the 8-bit scenes from the games

I still don't know how you ONLY have about 50K subs when you should have more than a MILLION with your talent. Keep up the fantastic content (and if you keep it up I think that steel wool might start noticing these vids!!) also love how you incorporated william's iconic line at 3:47

I love Williams depiction here. Hes strict,cold,calculating, but has a warmnedd for his boy that he rarely shares with anyone else. Even his "best friend"

Everyone is talking about William actually begin a good dad (or trying at least) and his infamous line. But Henry at 1:31. Does that mean something happened to Charlie there? Did she died in accident there? Others predicted thay William will blame Evan's death on Henry and as revenge killed Charlie. So there is more to the story. Amazing! Sorry for my garbage English.
