Not here to hate just imo, not a fan of the flow. The bars are pretty on par, but this sounds like a song I've heard by at least 20 other rappers. The beat was pretty weak too but I mean you cant always get your beats from madlib or the alchemist. I hope freddie keeps trying to make out of the box music because this was completely in the box. Nothing really sticks and by the time the songs over I forget I even listened to it. Huge fan of Freddie tho man one of the only rappers who's actually a fuckin thug, and represents himself and not ideologies.

Em fell off hard quality wise ... his last 3 albums are dumpster juice last album I liked from him was MMLP2. Yeah he can still rap but some of the corny worldplay he drops wtf (shit like "You've heard of Kris Kristofferson? Well I'm piss pissedofferson" or the Oranana line nah bro and I promise u this ain’t the only one on that level) + the music ain‘t doing nothing for me. It‘s my opinion before some Em stan tries to flame me it‘s all luv he‘s still a legend
@futuretwistamusic3499
@futuretwistamusic3499 3 жыл бұрын
@Carter Drake I‘m not discrediting him by any means - as I said he‘s a fuckin legend. But people gotta stop acting like he’s a untouchable god or somethin‘. If u consider yourself a rap god then you shouldn‘t have corny lines like that. And no you can’t compare piss pissedofferson to Redman & Slick Rick bro. If I talk about Em I think about Hell: The Sequel with Royce, Slim Shady LP, MMLP, The Eminem Show, Relapse & MMLP2. But I’m honest - Revival, Recovery, Encore & MTBMB are total misses for me. Yeah Em has bad songs and he dropped some wack lines - does that mean he‘s not a legend anymore? Of course not! But in my opinion consistency is the most important factor for musicians. I know for you rhyme schemes are probably the most important thing. Skill is important for me, too - but if you have the skill but can’t put together an good album then idk I don‘t feel it. But yeah we need to agree to disagree no point to discuss this. I respect your opinion!

Since 2009 I been hollering he was the best rapper alive. Nobody in Hip Hop history has been able to flow at that pace without using filler words or sound effects and gimmicks to keep the flow going between highlight bars. FRED puts more syllables of legit content in a single 16 than rappers do in an Album. If u have ever attempted to rap in your life you truly realize how insane his breath control is. Add the fact he keeps evolving the flow is Bonkers man

@@daytonflyerr7608 Jeezy was a rapper-label personified. Never sign to an artist. Ever. Gibbs commented multiple times on how he felt both mismanaged and disrespected. The particular issues were minor, but Freddie thought he could do better and be more relevant if he and Lambo just did they own thing. He was right, and now jeezy is dacing on tik tok and getting clowned by a richer guwop, while Gibbs has a huge fanbase, from the critics who love the madlib stuff, to mainstream peep he got hooked with Alfredo. He tends not to speak on the Jeezy shit, and for good reason; he left they ass on the dust no one cares about them other jeezy signees these days...
