Back in time when our lives & music was kind & loving, oh the memories

I was in a lounge in Chattanooga, TN when I first heard this song. I couldn't stop playing it that night, and I've been in love with it ever since. Freddie Hart is one of the best country singers of all time.

Wow; What a tremendous voice! I remember Freddie had several big hits while I was still a pup and I played them constantly on my old 8 track player! lol Man what a golden age of Real Country music unlike the clowns we have today calling themselves country when it's not Rock, Country, Folk, Pop or anything that can be defined with a name! It's a shame that Country music has died! It was the best music ever at one time.

O-H-I-O Porters🇺🇸 Greetings everyone. My 1st time hearing him was on an 8 track tape when I was a kid. Remember those? I always liked his voice & enjoyed listening to his songs, which were only about 2 on that tape. Quite enjoyable! Wonderful music, voice & much different than what we hear today! I haven’t heard this song for some time. I still have that 8 track tape by the way. WOW! Blessings! 🥰🤩🇺🇸

Freddie worked many shows that my husband Ken Allen promoted with partner Vic Lewis and he is one of the sweetest men I know, and a very good Christian , I love to hear him sing , just so soothing, my husband died in2005 and he loved Freddie, so he was on our shows as much as we could get him. Miss seeing him and hope he is doing well yet at 89. Widow of Ken Allen

The final #1 hit for Freddie Hart and The Heartbeats on the Country & Western charts. It was the 270th #1 C&W song of the Rock Era. It also hit #1 on the Canadian C&W charts. Freddie would have two more songs to hit #1 in Canada, but not the US.
