Reasons why Freddie was so lovable... 1. He was kooky, funny and outrageous in his own way. He really owned it. 2. He was also just a loving, kind and gentile soul. He was a humble human. There aren't many people in this world who can be both 1 and 2. It is either one or the other. No Freddie you were 1 of a kind darling.

Kaitlyn Rescino - I live in Iowa and cable television had been newly installed in the family home, but I never have been so in awe of a musician and how he owned and worked an entire audience into such a frenzy than I was of Freddie Mercury during his performance with Queen at Live Aid. And no other performer will probably ever come close to the electricity and charisma Freddie displayed that day in 1985. It’s highly doubtful there’ll ever again be a singer as gifted and delightful as Freddie Mercury was. Or at least not in my life time. I’m 50 years old, btw. He is irreplaceable. I just watched him in total amazement but now I sadly cannot watch anything about this lovely man since his passing to another realm. I simply break into tears. My dear friend who saw Queen at Wembley that day, was a huge fan of Freddie Mercury and unfortunately he also has passed away. But before he passed away, I was at least able to thank him for reigniting my love and appreciation for Freddie and opening my mind to listening to Queen more. My best friend died suffering his second battle with cancer and would understandably get depressed and even apologize to me. I tried to always lift his spirits, and one time asked him, What Would Freddie Do? Thinking that way usually helped him out and it would become his mantra. But my friend also adored cats, and his one and only cat died from cancer complications and the last time I heard from him, he said That’s it! I give up. I never heard from him again despite my pleas to him to not do anything foolish. I never met my best friend as we only spoke over Facebook, but I cannot watch anything related to Freddie without breaking down into a sobbing hot mess. I cry and mourn for 2 great men I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting. It’s so hard but The Show Must Go On. UGH! Doesn’t that song pull your heart out tho? Especially now. And Who Wants to Live Forever. But it’s the first song that I cannot listen to without thinking about my friend and Freddie. May they both rest in eternal peace.
@historywithkaitlynrescino19966 жыл бұрын
KATHLEEN WACHELDORF I am so sorry for your loss. Even though you never got to meet him he was still a friend. It’s great that he reignited your love for Freddie and Queen. It’s understandable to be emotional. The Show Must Go On does that to me especially after seeing the movie. Did you see it? I agree no one will ever be as good as Freddie. He set the bar way too high for people now.

Freddie Mercury,although long gone, would always be remembered. Though the crowd is cutting him in his words, we never showed his anger. Instead, he gave little reminders like telling them to stop first since he has more to say. He moved everyone's hearts, mind and soul because of his music. Even when he got AIDS, he still continued working,performing and singing. He never showed that he was ill,suffering just so that people would enjoy life with music and he made us feel that we are stronger than the hardships in life. He showed us that a illness is just an illness. We will either get better or die because of it, but our contribution lives on.
