I was the correct age, ten years younger than Freddie was, to have followed Queen when they were big , but somehow here in the USA I missed out on Queen. I was busy in College and Grad school. But NOW, after the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, I discovered Queen, and FREDDIE. For two years now I have read ELEVEN Freddie biographies, watched hundreds of videos, and STILL I am engrossed, and CRY watching Freddie, and hearing THAT VOICE. It is from HEAVEN. It has affected my entire life! I may have missed Freddie when he was alive, but oh my GOD, if there are others like me, who have only now discovered him and his magic, then Freddie is living on and on and on!.........

Wow, that sounds so much like my story...I was in grad school in the mid 80s and had not time or money for concerts, plus Queen had stopped playing in the US and lost their popularity there. It's only now that I realize how utterly amazing Queen was and I adore Freddie...I have folders on my computer of articles, documentaries, interviews, etc. etc. All this at the age of 66! He was truly one of a kind, such an incredibly talented, deep, complex and warm soul who brought happiness to so many. At first I was a bit turned off by his 'lifestyle' but realized that it did not define him as a human being, and was somewhat of a distraction to help him cope with his loneliness and neediness...he was a beautiful soul...

His physical features were fantastic - I saw him dancing with the Royal Ballet - it was impressive. And in his youth (Freddie from the 70-es) my one love - soulful, unreal, unusual, touching and incredibly powerful in his mighty and magnificent heavenly fragility...
