Probably one of the Greatest Frontmen ever, possibly THE best.. i can't think of any who come close really when I'm trying to think of others with that energy and drive and ability to get the crowd going and put on a real SHOW! i like that where he said to the band when they were feeling they were getting nowhere.. "I've made up my mind.. I'm going to be a LEGEND!" could do with him for promoting my songs as i get about twenty views a year..i need to become more LEGENDARY but i just don't have what he had, just songs with real heart, but maybe that's not enough.. my subscriber count has been in the 290 area for about a year.. back to the drawing board :(

I find it very hard to feel sympathy for a man as reckless as he was . I don't care about the drugs & the parties but he was being rampantly promiscuous when HIV was killing so many young men of his age . It was a terrifying illness that had no cure back then - horrifying things happen when your immune system (T cells) is wrecked . Paul Gambacinni said that when he asked Freddie about what steps he was taken to minimise his risk [_and risk to others_] - he laughed it off and said " I'm doing everything , with everybody " . You can be the judge of what kind of man that makes him.
