SadieOpped I live in Santa Barbara which is an hour and a half north of LA and similar weather. I would definitely recommend products that are more moisturizing. This time of year isn't super super hot, but it can be very low humidity, which can cause a lot of dryness and hair frizz. The weather shouldn't be tooo hot next week, probably 70s- 80s during the day, and then much cooler in the evening. October is such a beautiful time of year in Southern California.
