I’m amazed to have only now discovered this. This is a very well done film though it can make me question what’s happening story wise. As everyone else mentioned in the comments, the costumes were amazing for both Freddy and especially Jason. It has it’s flaws but you were working with what you had so it’s expected. I’m immediately going to watch the second part after this and just want to say you deserve more subscribers for this fan film.

You've got something good here, mate. The visuals are fantastic. Costumes and make-up work are very well done. I saw a comment mention the fight scenes needing work. Yeah, maybe but there is a bit more to believable fighting sequences than just throwing a fake punch. You did the best with your resources. With a better sound design and maybe even a more intense soundtrack where needed, this could stand above and beyond a number of fan films. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the next chapter!

Hi! Ahhh thank you for the feedback, appreciate your kind words. Yes absolutely, quite a few things to tweak and improve. We are actually going into production on part 2 next weekend with some real actors, make up / prosthetic crew and a handful of extras .. So hopefully we can come out with something much, much better!!

This was pretty cool. a nice little add on. the camera work is great and the filters you used made it better even in the dream world. I do wish the stunts were a little better but overall nice work man. keep it up.

I'm no expert, but regarding the stunts.. Why don't you just speed them up a tiny bit, so it looks like they have more impact? Also, do you plan on bringing in some side characters (read cannon fodder), or will this solely focus on Fred and Jay?

Actually, for what it's worth, this is the best FvJ fan fic I've seen. The look of Freddy and Jason are crucial, and that's the main point. If you're turning this into a 3 parter, this could be fun. Of course it's cheesy, but crossovers usually are lol As I pointed out previously, it's easy to speed up the fighting slightly, and up the sound fx as well, thus giving the fighting a bit more impact :D

Hi Stigma! Thanks for the feedback, always interested to see what people have to say. Believe it or not, most of the fighting was sped up, about 15% actually. We get in production on Part 2 shortly, 3rd of December to be more specific. Can't wait!!

definitely one of the better jason or Freddy fan films that are out there. minus the hair on jason I though he looked great. good attention to detail on Freddy too. that can be an instant deal breaker for me when it comes to fan films...if the characters don't look right the it can kill it right away. some of the fight stuff was a bit off but I understand that sometimes that I'd the hardest part to do. I suffer from this issue in my shorts as well. just subbed, look forward to more!

We toyed with the idea but neither of them talk and use similar fighting styles. My thinking is that we can do a LOT more using Freddy and ultimately, this is a F v J story especially for the 2nd movie. In the 3rd movie, we will toy with the idea of bringing Michael in and see what happens :)

a few things. there are ways we could remedy a few things one being freddys mouth you could cut out the mouth portion then use spirit gum to clamp the mask down and a little liquid latex and paint to make it seamless. Jason mask kept popping out of the shirt a great remedy for this is take a black or white plain t shirt and use duct tape to attach it to the shirt. also just to point out its very bland needs more sound effects and needs more dialogue. Other wise the film is great The look and filters are perfect the costumes are spectacular. Just needs a little work.

Hi .. It was a Panasonic GH4 with 2 lenses .. A Panasonic 42.5 f1.2 Leica Lumix and a Panasonic Leica Lumix 17.5mm .. and a lot of colour grading :)
