How about taking an instant photo of each pair that you keep and sticking the picture on the side of the shoe's box on the side that sticks out when you open your closet? It will also work this way if you choose to stack them in a tower. This way, you know what is in each box and will remember to wear them. As for the ones on the shoe rack... take a picture of those shoes whose box you keep and again stick the photo on the side. This will help you to put the correct shoes in its own box should you decide to keep or sell later. The Van Disney shoes... see if it can be dry cleaned? If yes, when you get them back, throughly spray the outside of the shoe with 3M Scotchguard Spray before you wear them again.

I think you should 100% get rid of the shoes that make your feet bleed! You have the nude Kurt Geiger ones that look similar, are way prettier, they don’t hurt AND you are cleaning out your closet so the most basic criterium should be if something’s comfortable! If you weren’t cleaning up you could keep them but there’s got to be a minimum criterium I believe 😄

Also if you haven't got any advice for cleaning your Vans; if you put them inside a mesh laundry bag and then into the washing machine it'll get rid of dirt- and most scuffs. My mom did this for a pair of shoes similar to those and none of the print got scratched of removed. Hope this helped x

Shoes are very difficult for me as well. A tactic I have used over the years is to switch out my shelves with different shoes. For example I have 6 floating shelves right by my closet, although I would usually reach for a different pair, I go through my shoes every month and put 6 new pairs on the shelves. This way I can give more of a chance to other shoes and see if I really need them, it also helps me to keep wearing them. However, with m6 other shoes I tend to put a picture on the front of the box and a label, this is also very handy when it comes to seeing all of your shoes. Overall I do believe having more of a display for your shoes Ware is very handy, and helps me a lot. 👠 👞 👟

For cleaning your Vans I recommend just using a wet/damp toothbrush! As long as you don't brush super hard, the bristles will be soft enough to not damage the print, while still getting some of the dirt off the canvas.

You most definitely can throw your nike sneakers in the wash and they’ll come out perfectly brand new! I’ve done it tons of times with my gym ones! As for the vans, there is a bathroom cleaning product in Portugal called CIF and it does wonders on converse and vans!

So for your vans, you can get some sneaker cleaner, usually sold at most grocery stores. And just put about 5litres (or however much needed to submerge the shoe) of water into a bucket and a few drops of the cleaner. Leave it for a few hours and then take some of the cleaner again and put a few drops on an old toothbrush and just scrub where needed (how i clean all my vans)z

24:00 for The Minnie Mouse vans If you put them in the wash in a garment bag made for washing and you don’t use fabric softener just detergent they should be OK. I’ve done that with mine before that have had a print on them that’s like the little sticker type print and it works really well and doesn’t tear them up

Try clearing out old shoes at the end of each season decide if your gonna wear them before storing them less to store if you go thru them seasonally it works for me or when you bring in new ones the same amount should go out
