FMSJ is my favorite rainy day frag. I always find myself reacting for it on a dreary rainy day. The notes really shines in that environment.

Went with Grand Soir for bed this morning. A great amber but that's about it. Might be a great layering option but I can't see this sample disappearing too quick.

Benchmark review right here! The main reason why i enjoy your content so much and come back for more.... because of the detail, and you're able to put aside your own preferences and bias's somewhat and take a neutral position and block out the noise coming from other reviewers and their crowd👍 I've seen a few bashings of this malle by so called knowledgeable collectors with preferences for vintage... their great insight being 'smells cheap / synthetic' great work guys! 👏🤦‍♂️

Private collection was my signature scent in the 80s and beginning of 90s. Didn’t know much about notes at all but it had a scent that would come thru every so often that I actually waited for. Love it. Do they still make the same formulation? I would like to get a bottle. By the way first time listener and enjoyed your explanations so much I am now a subscriber. 🕊

Have you smelled Comme De Garçons Daphne? The original not the reformulated re released one. It’s a beautiful vintage smelling perfume. If you haven’t, I’ll send u a sample. The original is impossible to find. I think you’ll like it .

This one was tough for me. Just too strong - it made me queasy and veered into plug-in air freshener territory. I don't think it's a bad fragrance, green fragrances are just tough for me when they aren't a bit more subtle. I had the same issue with the EDP version of Silences.

If you like synthetic jungle, you should get your nose on Nishane boszporusz. To my nose its a better version of a similar theme.

No its actually a calvin Klein... although for all we know they are all made in the same factory and just different labels put on them 🙃

@@RamseytheRam Oh, that’s interesting) About the same factory agree 👌 I checked - on my shirt there are light blue inserts in the form of stripes on the inside of the collar, along the buttons and on the inside of the cuffs. But outside look, color and texture are looking the same as yours.

Brown? Crunchy?.... I gotta get something to eat! 🍪 Incidentally that plastic plant was precisely the image I had in mind when I first heard the name. Btw, I've heard that Eau Sauvage Fraicheur Cuir is really very tame on the leather. Bit of a disappointment for some. I was close to tracking down a bottle at one point but released it to the perfume gods. Whoops. Typo. Perfume dogs. 🐕

🪴 Yeah I like my leathers super Leathery.... but there is some of that citrusy freshness in Ferre for Man from 1986 too..its probably the best Ferre along with Pontacio 21 😊
