I sort of think it was a fair call... Nunes won 1 & 2, Valentino won 3 & 4. Nunes won 5 with 2 takedown... Valentino was very busy but a lot of her strikes missed. She landed a few good strikes for sure, but they were in the rounds she clearly won, the rest of the time she was missing the mark.

No, la verdad yo apoyé a Amanda Nunes en las 2 peleas, y aunque las 2 en ese tiempo eran las mejores indiscutiblemente, la verdad es que las 2 aún no habían forjado su nombre y legado como leyendas, recién estaban las 2 escribiendo su historia, una trilogía hubiera estado perfecta ya con las 2 como leyendas indiscutiblemente hoy en día, creo que Valentina Shevchenko si ganó 3-2 pero no es un robo, además de que tanto los rounds que ganó Amanda Nunes 1° y 5° y los rounds que ganó Valentina, 2°, 3°, 4° fueron cerrados y Amanda Nunes tenía el peso de ser la campeona, fue una pelea cerrada en los que hay argumentos para decir que la otra peleadora pudo llevarse la victoria, pero no es ningún robo, tal vez si Valentina hubiera dejado lo técnico y el contraataque siendo la retadora y le hubiera puesto más presión, seguro hubiera ganado, fue una decisión dividida en donde 2 de los 3 jueces vieron ganadora a una y 1 de los 3 vió ganador a la otra, así que aunque pienso de que Valentina si ganó la pelea debatiblemente, no es robo como muchos dicen... 😒😒😒😅😅😅🤟🤟🤟🤘🤘🤘

Whoever edited this video clearly intended to make it look like Shevchenko won this fight by only showing the best moments of it. However, anyone who actually watched the full fight knows that Amanda Nunes won. She landed the best blows, did the most damage, knocked Shevchenko down several times and punished her on the ground, in addition to dominating the octagon throughout the fight. It wasn't easy, but Amanda definitely won.

Nobody can take away the credit from Nunes, she put her name in the book of legends as one of the greatest female fighters to ever do it. But even as a huge fan of hers, the hard truth is that Valentina won this fight hands down. She was not only way more busy than Nunes, but she connected a lot more shots. This was definitely disappointing. The judges for sure scored this fight wrong

And this is why I'm not a fan of MMA organizations. It's really dictated by adopted boxing rules and regulations. Regardless of what martial art you know, the individual competing basically has to either submit or KO their opponent. Too many "fights" end this exact way. Hell even hammer shots to the face don't even allow for an even fight because refs usually don't even consider to utilize the 10 second rule, more like a 10 millisecond rule. Valentina gets screwed twice until the promotion produces a weight class division she "fits in".
