The Lord of the Rings is a silly film trilogy yet he likes boring US TV dramas.

We all have our own tastes. What is boring for Jamison can be amusing for you or the other way round. Personally, The Lord of the rings is just an amusing thing although I like it as what it is. But I prefer The Wire in much more senses.
