😊 THE WIRE absolutely Is one of the best TV shows ever made... But I don't think Bird/Fredro character got wrote out because they disliked him. The Wire just had this flow where ANYTHING good or bad can happen to anyone in that show and that's one aspect that made it realistic/entertaining... Bird got locked up for what he and Avon crew did to Omar boyfriend, so there was no need to realy hear from Bird character again... Life changing events happen throughout the whole show... Everybody was mad when Avon got locked up for good, Stringer got killed and Sergeant Herc became some sort of special lieutenant even though he was known for messing up...lol Great interview AOD and Fredro💯

Met Fredroo at the gym during his Moesha days as Q, Bally's in Rockville center ny strong island , he was by himself training and politiced with me and my man like we was peoples from back on the day. Humble joking with us even signed and autograph for my daughter good man as far as I'm concerned

He took the role and died a legend. Could’ve been you, but you didn’t have the chops to become an entirely different character, which is what acting IS. Sad.
@user-jh6kl8jq8lАй бұрын
That was for him and his community . Fredro shouldn't be concerned about being that kind of legend. HE'S A LEGEND ! And BEEN a legend before the wire was even thought of . FOH

@ What community? Mike Williams was straight and had 3 kids. This is acting. If you can’t handle it, just bow out and continue playing the same character in every part--like Fredro always has.

The fact that Avon doubled the original bounty on Omar, after Bird revealed he saw him intimate with other males in jail was always super wild to me. Homophobia is real!
@thehotbox7474Ай бұрын
It’s because it was embarrassing to get robbed by a ponk. No matter how tough Omar was. The fact that he was gay was a slap in the face to everybody he robbed.

It doesn't matter what Avon thought... it mattered what the streets thought. One of the 48 laws of power is to guard your reputation at all costs... i.e. "My name is my name."
@willia3rАй бұрын
“Homophobia” is not a real term. Phobia is a fear of, as in you run away from it, or the fear paralyzes you. I don’t see any fear here, only disgust. And being disgusted by something is not being in fear or afraid of it.

WTF you talking about Freddro? The show was rocking already? Bruh. You were Bird in the first season as one of Barkdale's main shooters. You got arrested as the guy who killed Gant and was in the second season on trial with Omar testifying against you. Freddro wasn't fired. His character served its purpose in the story.

Somebody tell Freddy to talk about this: European males enslaved, colonized, brutalized, subjugated and dehumanized BLK women for over 400 years! I hope BLK women can recover from this traumatic past! Much love to all the copper skinned sisters out there!!!!!
