I remember going to a blockbuster with my dad on the last day they were going to be opened and got nearly a full rack of movies for like $10 and they even let us take the rack (they were gonna throw it out anyways)

Nope. The entire business model was focused around the ridiculous late fees. Once online streaming became a thing, blockbuster was irrelevant to the majority of the country. Hell, even when Netflix was predominantly doing the mail-in rentals, you kept the discs as long as you want.

It wasn’t a blockbuster but a local dvd rent store that gave me my childhood with all kinds of movies, video games ps2, and they even sold microwaveable popcorn. They’ve since shut down last year and it made me sad. Loved renting movies for 2 dollars.

I am glad you are educating people on the perks of physical media. Movies like Dogma are lost to time due to rights issues. Disney has edited some of their films. Lucas has changed Star Wars soooooo many times. Physical media is so important. Where’s the Last Jedi? It’s like the 2nd or third best Star Wars? (Empire, Sith, Last Jedi- I debate the order). Been watching you for ages, but this finally got my subscribe. The video I watch most is the polite hair cut. The positive affirmation about a nice personality gets me for some reason. Maybe it’s loneliness…. But it’s nice. Thanks!
