We were so connected to Diana and Diana to us that night.....She had just received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and this show was just so meaningful, so memorable and beautiful because of the heightened grandeur of spirit and acknowledgement. Diana even touched hands while from the stage when everyone swarmed the stage to race towards her.... All ages, all races, genders.... Diana brought everybody together. It's been so wonderful seeing Miss Ross singing "The Best Years of My Life" again. This is one of my favorite songs from her extensive catalog. I heard some say that she also sang another one of my favorites, "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" during these shows with the N.S.O. Pops. I wonder if any footage was recorded.
