What a great idea! When the “ perfect day at Coco cay” cane out I was very leery about having to spend extra cash for a private island. It looks like there are still plenty of included ways to enjoy the day here! I think I’d spend my day there at a beach and later at a pool! Thanks for posting this great video! ❤️

My hubby and I plan to cruise to Nassau & Coco Bay February 2020 via the navigator of the seas for our 10th wedding anniversary. Your vlogs have been very helpful. Also, you referenced the 5 water slides as having a max height of 42 inches, yet the video shows an adult going down. Can you specify? That's my children's height's exactly! Thx

I am not sure how strict or not they are with parents going down with their kids under the height requirement or if that was just during the opening weekend.

Hey Alana, do you have any pictures of the height requirements sign for splashaway bay? There is some debate because MAX 42" is basically a 4 year old. It has to be a typo on the RCL site right?

Alana I was a close friend of Mario on my last Navigator cruise. Do you know what ship he will be on February-March 2020 because I want to book on his ship. If you want to ask his permission first tell him it’s Richard and Helaine from Miami and we were on the ship with him when that guy had his Labrador retriever with him in the Diamond club. Would we be missing out if we passed on the Cabana and only purchased the thrill full day? Three adults, two kids, I forsee Grandma being the only one sitting in the shade all day, so if it's a difference between $208 for activities and find a place to stash Grandma in the shade VS $490 for a cabana to essentially do the same thing, assuming we'll be chasing the kids around all day...

Oh that's a tuffy Amanda. If grandma would be just as comfortable in the shade or under an umbrella sitting in a beach lounger verse a lounger or couch in a cabana I would say the cheaper option. But If she wouldn't be comfortable in a lounger and an umbrella then cabanas might be the best option because of the location too. The thrill water park has cabanas directly at the exit of the slides so every time you come down you can basically check on her if needed. And you would have an attendant to make sure she was well hydrated. lol

Video is kind of misleading, you named things such as jet skiing, paddle boarding, etc which are NOT free. It should be clarified you will have to pay for these activities and basically only entering the area is free.

Apologies for not being specific enough. Yes powered motor sports like jet skiing and excursions are considered paid activities but the other beach activities like soccer and beach volleyball are free. Point being there is a lot for one to still do and enjoy on the island without having to pay for anything extra. Hope that helps!
