Yesterday I was searching for AI and AE courses and was sad seeing all of them were so expensive.. I could only buy one course if I had to.. @Yuva VR why don't you just use skillshare instead. You get 2 months of free trial and the monthly membership isn't that expensive as well (if you choose annual one cuz it's $2). Looking at it that way Udemy seems quite expensive bcuz with the udemy has to offer you can probably fit in three courses, if you use the 2 month free membership that is.

I started following Dan on youtube a couple of months back and ended up with a monthly subscription on BYOL. The value he brings in his courses is remarkable. Dan's project based approach is the real thing since many youtubers will teach you the tools but without working in real life projects no one can polish his skills. All top institutes teach students on project basis. Kudos to Dan for bringing such value at a very very very affordable cast. Dan you are jem of a person for providing such brilliant tuts with projects at such an affordable cost. The best thing for me probably is how I don't have to deal with using the pen tool for vectors all the time because of Curvature Pen's existence :)))

LOVE THIS. I have watched several tutorials by Dan, and they are immensely helpful. One thing that would be helpful is if BYOL could include the Adobe Illustrator version in the video description, or maybe indicate any updates in the description. I'm currently watching this 10 months after the posting, and am using Illustrator CC V25.1, I don't know if some of the updates are adjusting my settings, or if it's user error. But otherwise, this is amazing! Thank you so much!!

Hi Dan, I would love to follow your monthly course. I’m totally new to Adobe Illustrator as well as to my new MacBook Pro14”, bought especially for learning Adobe Illustrator. I’m having difficulty to open Adobe CC - it only says Illustrator at the top left. On the top right is the Creative Cloud emblem. When I click on that it opens the Cloud app. But still I don’t get Adobe CC at the top left as indicated on your screen. The tutorials on Adobe are based on the assumption that the student is already familiar with how to open Adobe CC. I’m a pensioner intent on getting to know Adobe Illustrator. My motto is: you retire, you expire. So I prefer to keep on learning. I’ve managed to attempt a few beginners Tutorials in Adobe, but don’t ask me how I got to them - pure fluke. I particularly want to trace and correct the shapes of a hand drawn pattern . When I click on Image Trace, the smaller window that opens with options regarding settings of the image to be traced, are greyed out - so it’s inactive. So if I could get instructions on how to correctly open Adobe CC I would appreciate it and would enable me to follow your Tutorials. I live in Portugal but am not Portuguese and the good people in my neighbourhood cannot speak English, and wouldn’t know what to do with a laptop, let alone Adobe. So I depend on online assistance in English. Would greatly appreciate assistance. Thank you.

Only just started watching but what i like already (as opposed to other channels ive watched) is that you show what happens when you do something wrong like double clicking onto 'isolation mode' for instance, im coming from using Omega composer for sign design for 20 years and its bafflinga and im finding myself going around in circles but i must persist as its the 'go to software' my printer uses so he needs to 'import' exactly what im coming up with..... Thankyou ..... il continue to watch and go back over sections again
