Isaiah heartenstein had one of the most fun decisions in free agent history. Deciding between two of the greatest vibes in the NBA right now.

I don't think the Hartenstein deal is that crazy. It's a descending deal, so it'll look a little better in years 2 and 3 and I believe the 3rd year is non-guaranteed so worst case scenario they can move off him after 2 years. Makes more sense for OKC to be aggressive with their cap space while they have it.

Didn't Nuggets say the same thing, "we believe Christian Braun can step up into the role", when Bruce Brown left too? And then they got bounced in the second round?

Naji Marshall's shooting wasn't an aberration. It was the product of the best shooting coach in the league in Fred Vinson. The dude had success story after success story with the Pelicans. I'm bummed they lost him.

They purposely didn't make the trade until you guys logged off. Once Daryl Morey got the word some of the sharpest and most handsome heavyweight NBA intellectuals weren't online he felt comfortable pulling the trigger. I'd be afraid to incur Treys wrath too

Paul George traded being the wingman for an always injured Kawhi to the wingman for an always injured Embiid. 🤷♂️ Again like every recent Paul George team....they look good on paper but will probably lose in the first round due to injuries. Also, the only seats the Clippers and Balmer care about in the new arena are the 10,000 toilets 😉

I'm worried the CP pickup is something more political against Wemby. We know how much of a snake he can be, and Pop's "schematics" last season read more like sabotage (similar to some things I've seen with the Fever). Hope I'm wrong, though. There couldn't be a better teacher for Wemby at the PG position.

It's no the Mavs that went with Naji over DJJ, it's Klutch that chose the Clippers. Everything prior to changing agents was about DJJ wanting to stay on the Mavs, after that it became about having more playing time with the Clippers since PG is gone, but I don't think that will be necessarily better for DJJ, he won't get the same shots he got with Luka.
@carsonkahla91623 ай бұрын
Because of nba rules he’s without an agent for 10 more days as he had to give 15 days notice of change of agency before they can represent him. Also things can just change once the negotiations actually start and the rest of free agency is better known

Saying Tre Jones wasn't much better than Sochan as a point guard is way off base. The Spurs were +6 when Wemby and Tre played together. That's better than many so-called "star" pairings in the league. And Wemby's own stats skyrocketed in that time. If they'd kept playing Sochan, Chet would have won ROY.

$29 million a year for Hartenstein is insane

Basically OKC earmarked $30m for JDub/Chet extensions 2 years from now. So with the Cap going up by 10% in both years they should be able to just sign both to 25% extensions if they turn down the 3rd year option. And between now and then draft a backup C for Chet with one of the 6 picks they will have available in the 25/26 drafts. It's a gross overpay, but it makes sense for OKC because the other option was maybe not getting Hart with a $20m deal and Joe/Wiggins sending you over the cap anyways. It also gives OKC a large tradable contract if someone perfect asks out like Giannis, even though I don't think that will happen.
@TheRealUcanUwill3 ай бұрын
NO its not. Tobias Harris got 2/52 and these guys - fine. Hartenstein gets 29 mil per year - huge overpay!. Get your heads straight guys, you aren't casuals, this is a brilliant deal. Why is Trey so obsessed with All-Stars, who cares bout that, guy is good, same goes for Mikal.
