@@MattFlanc Having played with the controls, I see that the preset is merely a modified formant setting, and not very good. There are more realistic plug-ins for such an effect, called voice changers. While Melda offers the best tutorial for setting its impressive variety of parameters, MAutoPitch renders an unacceptably poor sound quality; and it does not correct pitch well, even at extreme settings. Unless someone can demonstrate appreciable pitch correction, I will look for a better plug-in for the process.

That should be possible by creating a midi track with the notes already on it. However I don't know the exact configuration for MAutoPitch by heart so you'll need to check the manual

can you explain how to use it as a pitch shifter for example putting it on master and changing the whole pitch of the song??

Just put it on the master and choose what key you want I guess, although I doubt it would sound very good. Or if you mean just pitching the whole thing up or down then you probably want a different plug-in I would imagine.

Make sure that the DRY/WET is set to 100% wet. If it's still not fixed then, it's the plugins fault. I've noticed that MAutoPitch compared to other autotune plugins (like Waves tune real-time) has far worse sound quality unfortunately...

If you want to know what it does, I suggest you to just turn the knobs! Formants are essentially a resonance at a certain frequency, and shifting them allows you to pretty much tune up or down your voice by shifting those frequencies.
