Highly recommend the course!I’m still slowly hacking my way through it and trying to soak it all up. You really get to see how Phil thinks in different situations and how it he applies his ideas.

I always love using different rhythms on a single note when playing with a band. Very satisfying to find that groove!

I am a very mediocre guitar player who had an old Epiphone p-bass around, but rarely played it. Recently I picked up a short scale bass and was instantly in love. I realized quickly that I needed to find a way to get better. I came across your channel months ago via Rhett Shull and I have been enjoying the content. I wasn't sure what to expect from the course. This was interesting. I went ahead and picked up the course this evening and am looking forward to diving in!

In those grooves, listen carefully and you will hear classic patterns from Queen and Van Halen amongst so many others. Thank you Phil for demonstrating simplicity is the key to so much of bass playing.

Hey Philip! Recently came across your channel and I'm loving the content. After a long time away, I picked a Players P Bass. I noticed that when sitting with it, the neck dives quite a bit - is this normal? I'm considering upgrading the bridge to add mass and possibly lighter tuners. I'm happy with the stock pickup for now. Would appreciate your opinion!

how long is the course (in terms of time i mean)?

Between two and three hours. Lots of stuff in there from beginner to advanced. Technique, theory, rhythm, chords, inversions, and real song application.
