I see Briggs still doesn't use a common wrench size on its fasteners. I still like working on Honda for this reason. Kohler's nice that way as well. You're right, brand new mowers are hundreds of dollars and yes, some people don't want to work on these machines and send them to a curb as even these Briggs engines are relatively easy to work on. Battery's the future I guess? I am not so sure myself if that's the right direction.

yeah i won't go electric until forced to do so.. and yes, many people would rather buy a new mower than take care of the ones that they have.. or perform simple repairs.. i don't understand it.. especially when KZbin tutorials are often just a click away..

Amazon is the place I get all my parts from for mowers and everything the Air box cover and filter together is 10 dollars on Amazon I work on small engines to have been for 33 years now ❤ I hate it ween people just put a new push mower in the trash and must of the time it just needs the carb cleaned walmart has the gas caps to for them

Need your help please. I watched one of your videos on cleaning throttle body caused high idle. Well my car is a 03 Camry Xle 3.0v6. It ran fine I just wanted to do maintenance so I cleaned the throttle body and the mass airflow sensor and unhooked the battery terminal to clean the post. But I never removed the throttle body when cleaning. And ever since I have a high idle at cold start up only. Before cleaning my rpm at cold start was 1400 until warming up now its 1800 at cold start up. Any ideals? Appreciate any help
