Granthams bend in corowa is great. No facilities, but it's close to town to drive in for toilets or showers.

Our picks from Victoria we stayed at was numurkah community lions park. Free camp beside the river. Greens lake reserve- by the lake and plenty of room to spread out. Mt Franklin Reserve - extinct volcano that has its own almost ecosystem inside it! Was very cool. Toilets and a rim walk too.. you actually stay inside the crater which is really cool. Just be prepared for earlier sunsets and later sunrises as it’s quite dark in there!

Newstead Racecourse & Recreation Reserve $10 night, Mount Franklin Freecamp, Tocumwal Town Beach $15 & Green Lake $25 powered site are our favourites soo far. But lots more to explore over the summer. Thanks for sharing you favourites. We have a dog so some aren't suitable but we are looking forward to getting into some Alpine areas during summer.

I like to have a signal because I have children in different countries and I need to be available and in touch. We went once to a beautiful spot in leongatha, but after an hour we left because of the signal. Once we did the three day hike at Wilson prom and were out of reach. When we returned to tidal river we had to leave and within three days we were on a plane out of Australia. That’s the thing about having children living outside of Australia.

Yes that does make it so much harder. We have recently got starlink and that has made it better for us to camp in places without signal.
