I am in this park today, Sept. 5, When I got here Thursday I was the only one here. On Friday it filled up. I walked up the road and found it came to a crossroad, taking a right I found a youth rodeo going on. It was fun watching the kids showing off their skills. I am parked at the first sight on the other end in a 25' Class-C. It really is a great little park. It's full again but I am leaving in the morning. I didn't notice much noise but I spend a lot of time at rest stops so I am used to noise with all of the big trucks running all night. Have a good trip and enjoy.

I've found free city park camping with electric hook-ups and water available at Texoma Park in Dumas, Texas, and in Davis Park in Greensburg, Kansas. Seems like a lot of small towns have put out the welcome mat for RVers. Thanks for letting us know about Lamesa! 👍👍 🐶🐶🤠🐶🐶🚐

Texas is awesome, my fav state out of the 33 we toured last year.(I REALLY liked Hot Springs SD!!! Ah heck I loved Everywhere we went😃😅🤣😂) We stayed in Brownfield free camping!!! (Heading west). We got 17miles to the gallon towing and when we left BC Canada, we were paying $5/gallon, so LOVED the cheap gas and Food in USA! here in BC, we pay $5/doz eggs, $5/gal/milk, $5loaf bread, so everytime we shopped in USA, we were tickled and gleeful leaving the grocery store!!!

Rusty, I recently renewed my Texas citizen ship by spending a hot August in campgrounds around Fort Worth after being out of state since May. Looking for cooler climate I arrived at the Rob Jaggers campgrounds a few hours after you left on Monday. The free camping you mentioned are great places to stay. I would like to add Crosbyton,Floydada, Borger and Stinnett. Pleasant Journeys to you Rusty

Nice! I camped for one night at that same spot for free at Lamesa City Park in June last year going back to San Antonio driving from Clayton State Park, NM. There were several campers stopping for the night back then. It just took a little bit of research with my iOverlander app and done.

@@stevecounts325 can you elaborate why

Annette F Possibly to make the trailer level, possibly he intends to go somewhere in his truck,possibly to unload his electric trike from his truck. Possibly he just wanted to. The possibilities are many, maybe not endless though.
@annettef64814 жыл бұрын
@@stevecounts325 I reckon there could be countless reasons as to why. I was just curious since Rusty stated he had food and he was taking off in the morning it seems like that would be a hassle to detach the Cassita for such a short stay.
