Don’t usually comment, really like some imagery ‘praying hard for my shadow to dim’ is fucking beautiful ‘the darkest part of me was taming the spirit’ is also powerful as shit. Only thing I’d say is keep it tighter for longer. Especially when it truly grips you, Let the image keep developing. Obviously I’m just a wacko commenting, but I think there’s a lot there for you if you instinctively follow the image cos some of it (the lines mentioned foremost in my mind) is so exact and expressive it cuts through and resonates.
