please tell me how in the world you get such natural drums.... ive been looking to get that smooth fast yet funky yet clean natural drum sound....i use fl studio, i dont have a drum set, its so hard. please give me some advice, this is a masterpiece. very well done.

Hey Darnell I use acoustic drum sounds from addictive drums 2 then layer it with other drum sounds from kits with swings on hihat and for processing I add compressor and process it through vintage plug-ins like rc 20 then I process it through j37 and plug-ins like Kramer tape with personal settings and with adjusting the wet/dry knobs and with the kicks I use parallel compression on my kick drums sometimes . hope it helps

thank you so so much... im forsure going to check out addicitve drums 2, this beat just fits together perfectly as a true tone i cant put my finger on really, i wish i knew how to get a better swing like sound, hi hats get hard for me. if you play this video at 1.25 play back speed, it messes with the mix a bit, but omg its the perfect description of the swing and flow i want for my drums. another thing, i love how there almost a layer/second snare, aswell as the kick, that helps the swing sooo much, is that what your doing?@@kulturekat
