What is the point if the beat is non profitable? even after buying the beat... and with all the extras ( " buy your tracks today " ) its difficult to even record on the beat.

what do you mean the beat is non profitable? If you purchase a license it is 1000% profitable and can be uploaded to streaming services... The tags are so people can just youtube to mp3 and upload to spotify without purchasing a correct license. Once you purchase a license you all of the tags are taken off of the beat to make it usable for an actual release.

@@jarieswagg Hey So I can answer and help you with a couple things for sure 1) There's no one size fits all, every producer is different and I can't promise how other producers handle business. 2) Beats have a free download typically for recording purposes, you can take it mess around and see if you want to end up releasing it as a full song. 3) If you then want to release it as a full song you have to purchase a license. The license is basically what gives you permission to use what is my copyrighted content. A lot of people try to gain the system but releasing a song without purchasing a lease but that usually ends up in the song getting taken down. 4) When you purchase a license, all of the tags you hear in the youtube video are removed! I have the tags there as a deterrent to help with stealing. You wouldn't believe how many records I find daily that are blatantly stealing my beats. But it's part of the game and you get used to it. What I usually tell artist is to ask yourself, if you spent your time producing and working on music for artist how would you go about dealing with piracy, and if you would be okay with it.
