Hi TechnoDad! Is there any chance you could make a video for how to manually update the linuxserver plex docker image whilst keeping the configuration intact? I got it up and running a few months ago but I'm not confident enough to manually update the docker as there were so many extra settings I had to play with to get the transcoding to work and I can't remember how I did it! Nice video - detailed and informative. So, everything today is based on the assumption there will be an internet connection all the time. At the restaurant where I want to use this, there is no internet. Can I do all the setup needed at home, then just plug in the Pi to the TV's at the restaurant without it trying to time sync or license check at boot or check for updates during the day and crash? If I wanted to make updates I would take the Pi home, make the changes on Yodeck, let it download, then bring the Pi back the next day? I'm really looking for a custom option system like this, but one that can be used offline after uploading the data. Thanks for any info.

Thank you for the video. It got me started with Yodeck. I work for a seafood restaurant where seafood market prices fluctuate very often. I'm looking for a digital signage solution that will read the prices from like an excel/text file or some sort of database file (where i would update the prices). I'm trying to avoid editing the price on a "picture" and have to upload the picture then push it out to the player. Do you have any recommendation for what i am trying to do? Thanks again.

Believe you control it from yodeck, Once its configured and connect to the internet, you go to yodecks website to edit it.

There are no “special power supplies”. Just tell them the SPECS so people *actually* learn all the differences. I’ll do it. Most phone chargers are 5 volts, 1 amp. Around 5 watts total. Newer Pis are requiring 20 watts. 5 volts, 4 amps.

To get "free digital signage", You need to purchase SD card, hdmi cable, raspberry pi, powersupply, case... THEN IT ISN'T FREE! Also yodeck isn't free anymore. MUCH cheaper solution is a chromecast and a google account.
