Chelly, not only is this a good technique for hand sewing, but it is much easier to use for inverted bodices on tiny dolls. In the past, I have abandoned a bodice just because I can't invert through a skinny shoulder area! (I hope you get my meaning) With your technique, a quick zig zag on the raw edges of the shoulder seam will accomplish ( all seams hidden or finished) the same in the end! Great practice for a beginner, too! Thank you for this technique and another great free pattern!

I've also struggled with tiny inverted bodice shoulder straps, but on much smaller dolls (6 inches for example), so I totally agree! Thank you for taking the time to leave a well-thought-out comment!
