This sister reminded me my past. Many years back , I think I learnt English my own way. Those days we didn’t have anything except print media. If any one has a will combined with passion, can reach the height. For the benefit of all , I would like to share my experiences. I divided English in to four categories. 1. Spoken English 2. Reading English 3. Thinking English 4. Writing English 5. Listening English I prepared a check list of above and made sure that I would do least one exercise to cove each in every day . To Improve spoken English , I used to speak alone. Did it bit louder. Spoke with my room door or with anything in my room. Used to some tongue twisting exercises or my own way of elocution practices. The words and phrases that I found difficult to pronounce, practiced separately for days and got used to them. Following are few that , I remember practiced regularly and found useful. “ betty bought a blanket , Betty bought a blanket .Betty bought a blue blanket, Betty bought a blue blanket. Betty bought a bright blue blanket , Betty bought a bright a bright blue blanket for her baby boy he cried when he saw it, he hates bright blue” “ the text is next week” “Would you post this letter please” Above tongue twisters made my tongue and lips relaxed and made me ready, with confidence , when I was speaking English. In reading , I started with small paragraphs in local English news papers. When ever I found a new word , wrote it down in a separate book with meaning. Later I used those words to make sentences, doing this not only glued those words in to me and also increased my writing English capacity. In writing English , I used to maintain a book where I wrote my day to day activities/ experiences. Used difficult words to make sentences. In thinking English, did in the night, manly thought about days events i experienced during the day. This exercise too gave me good confidence and readiness of speaking. In listening English I started with local English daily news . First I listened the news bulletin in my native language then in English. After some times, I bought a satellite TV connection mainly to watch BBC and CNN news. these exercises made my ear familiar with the language. People see something special when I speak now, they admirer me. my self study of the subject is the reason behind that. I feel ,we should not stuck with formal way of learning English by going through all the grammar exercises. Some times , formal way make things difficult. A language is a practical thing , have to approach practically. By doing above practices, i practically learnt English grammar, like correct way of using preposition, past and present participle, passive sentences, etc.,. Thank you dear sister for reminding my past experiences of learning English. Feel u got a good intention, selfless service for others. People who serve others with love are the most happiest people in this world. May peace and bliss there with u always.

Thank you so much Brother, for bringing your valuable knowledge in light. 🤗In this world of technology people have forgotten the value of Reading, Thinking and Speaking. Everybody is simply listening and watching. Good to read your power packed note. Thanks once again. 👍

@@atulugale9783 Good to hear u brother. There is a saying “practice make perfect”, it must be fair with everything. I am not perfect in English , still learning, but I always wanted to guid ppl, who are enthusiastic learning the subject. Should not take English as a serious matter, but ur approach should be serious and well planed. Noticed something different in this channel, this sister Seems to be having a genuine mind set of guiding ppl. I thing she is professionally engaged in something else, might be teaching, and might already be having a good income. I noticed that she has referred some free courses for u, that shows her good intention. Money can’t buy everything, specially good values, hats off for her, for her good work. A little thing I would like to point out for u in this same line, the important of listening. Follow up few important accents, e.g, US, British, Australian. Listen to their news, watch their series, this practice would prepare u for a future battle. I have heard stories of ppl , who got stuck with these different accents in real life, ppl who got all the major qualifications in English. So doing this way ,u will prepare yourself for the challenge. And keep a good intention beside ur targets,i.e, serving the mankind , giving something back to the world, where we were born. If we practice this, our intuition would guid us in right way. and best use every opportunity that come ur way, don’t worry about accent or anything else. U have to be in the water, if are to learn swimming. speak with ppl , when ever possible, it could be a help desk call for some services. All the best!

John 13:8 “No!” Peter said. “You will never wash my feet!” Jesus replied, “Unless I wash you, you won’t have a place with me.” 9 Simon Peter said, “Lord, not only my feet but also my hands and my head!” 10 Jesus responded, “Those who have bathed need only to have their feet washed, because they are completely clean. You disciples are clean, but not every one of you.”
