I’m going to Bali in a few days & will be making my own Batik fabric. I’ll be coming home with Lots of fabric! My plan is to make a charity quilt with this pattern (in addition to all the stuff for family & friends). This pattern will give me the practice I need with HSTs as I have a really hard time matching the points. Can’t wait to get some really cool colours out of my norm!!

This pattern is so timely, I was going to use the pattern Time Machine for another quilt but there was not enough contrast between the focus fabric and the dark. Now I can use the dark as a border. Yay! I also bought your new book, One Block Quilts, as the pattern Evening Stroll uses the focus as a large square and separates the focus from the dark.
