You have wrung the peak performance for Guillows scale biplanes based on my repeated amateurish attempts in the 1960's. There would be no shame in switching to electric.

You were a lot younger then and impatient, but if you dedicate yourself now to the simple charm of a rubber powered kit such as this, you will be satisfied. Takes a lot of tweaking plus aeronautical know-how to get it to fly straight and true. There IS shame in "giving up" and taking the easy way out.
