i hate when yall put free for profit in the title and then basically say "no i lied" in the description. it's obnoxious. nobody is looking at a "free for profit" title and going "now i can monetize this on soundcloud" dude. get real

I appreciate the comment bro but releases on Spotify or Apple Music without a purchased lease have happened to me before without me knowing. One song in particular reached millions of streams, and that’s me missing out on hundreds if not thousands of dollars. I have a team helping me copyright ID on KZbin and SoundCloud where I do allow free uploads, but the process is more complicated for taking songs down from Spotify and I’m not trying to undergo that again. Countless top artists just started by posting on KZbin and SoundCloud, and that should always be plenty to get your music out there to start. As a platinum producer, I’ve spent thousands of dollars investing into VSTs, sounds, and plugins so if you really wanted to take your music career seriously, is a $20 beat purchase really that big of a hinderance? Hope that makes sense

@@prodsuli_ I spend hundreds on beats. This isn’t even about me, I’m just saying that if you don’t want people taking your beats (as often) or want there to be misunderstandings, don’t put free for profit in the title. It’s misleading to people who are literally just looking for a quick free for profit beat. Because your beat, despite the title, is literally *not* free, or for profit. I use free for profit beats in between bigger projects I’m working on to keep my upload schedule better. I wish you all the best, but if that’s your reason why, just don’t put “free for profit” in the title.
