He runs a successful business from his productions. His beats have exclusivity if that’s the purchase intent, so other than that what would you be looking for exactly? If you’re wanting some completely custom work done between the two of you, you’d have to understand that if you’re not already a verified entertainer with a specific reach… then working exclusively with you could actually damage his business and it’s overhead. I understand why from an artist perspective it may seem he’s just unwilling to work, but at the same time he is full time with what he does and unless a very lucrative or passionate job gets brought to him… why should he respond? If you’re not in possession of a proven track record, working with you would be like a restaurant hiring a head chef without any experience or who can’t prove his work history. It just wouldn’t make sense. Then again you’ve got to see this for what it is; a business, not a super low key singular producer who doesn’t already have a reputation and branding established. This man has to be careful and I’m sure he’s plagued by infinite questions that would bury yours, even if he intended to see it.
