I really could relate to J.Cole since the first time I heard him. I listen to all kinds of music and I’ve been an artist writer poet and painter as well as criminal addict prisoner father son and “Lost one. I was sitting in the bathroom crushing and sniffing pills when I heard freestyle of the year. I was in one of the roughest times of my life and I went from the TOP to the bottom real quick from luxury housing and cars to sleeping on a couch in the projects and riding a bike. I was listening to the rap and it didn’t hear to me like the way he has ever rapped before he was angry and spiteful and racist and cruel and I promised myself I’d never listen to him again. Who knows maybe that song is what got me so Much more lost and angry and reckless and sent to jail again. That was what 4-5 years ago? I’ve been doing well since and crazier sober than I was ever on drugs I lost my mind on this journey and then found myself again the new person. I would legit just grab my phone Facebook instagram live no front tooth in half asleep drinking etc and really spit a freestyle that made sense etc. That’s not how it’s truly done 98 percent do writen songs. I challenged him to a battle a written battle for ten grand I would’ve put the cash up front. One beat 3 minutes long and whoever has the best rap wins. That was my alternative to calling in some favors and gettin a hold of Dana White to challenge him in the ufc ring and try to violently hurt him. I don’t want to spread violence and hate and would be just as cruel and wrong as him for saying this as deeply hurtful to any mothers about their sons who oded and died and how they get programs and not prison. You see addict today? They are bums and beggars they aren’t criminals they are lost people and to be so racist and mean I’m actually not surprised he didn’t get blasted for it but that’s the true entitlement of entertainment and the acceptance for blacks to say things and whites be admonished when they do. I was in the bathroom in a racially mixed Public housing project in South Boston historically the first in the country. People who have definitely lost someone who know someone who has from drugs or violence people who’s daddy’s and baby daddy’s have been away their moms and baby mommas out partying or tricking meanwhile the kids are home alone just like some adults and they look for an outlet to get a sense of belonging or validation in this culture that belongs to us all not not black or white. J.Cole I couldn’t get the disgusting taste from his sickening beliefs and for days contemplating even going to NYC to see him in person I been out In Brooklyn and all around. I’m a humble person who don’t need to prove anything to anyone I’ve always been tough and ready to fight but couldn’t win them all I was always the one however that when stuff escalated I would push the bar further than the next guy whether through violence or intelligence. I really hope he at least makes amends within himself band gives some compassion to some random people for his remarks in freestyle of the year. JCole o forgive ya but I’m still not bumping your music until I hear him publicly apologize to all the snow bunnies and white bitch mothers who lost their privileged sons to drugs and not prison yet he pitches crack rocks like Sebastian lmao He pushed a pen in liberal art college that’s about it. He was always like if Lauren Hill was a guy and way more like Nas you would get JCole. He’s got so Many ways to spread positivity around in this world today one that so many strangers aren’t becoming friends they are becoming enemies while not even knowing each other. They are fighting over politics religion and sexual preference not so much race. I wouldn’t even call JCole the N word as much as k hated him for it because my real true black gang banging friends my rehabilitation friends my working black friends my homeless black friends and my beautiful black (girl) friends. How would I sound referring to them as black bitches or coco bunny’s? Everyone forgive him and we gotta try to find a way to bring some loving here today. Pick it lines no more white lines!
