Wait. I thought he was working for Spitfire? Or just as a freelancer?
@PraiseTracksАй бұрын
@@grasped2 Dan had done some work for Spitfire in the past but has launched out to do more on his own. He is tremendously talented, and I wish him all of the very best, looking forward to seeing more of what he has been up to lately.

@@PraiseTracks Here, Here Simeon...Like you, he is one of my fav talents on music making chat on youtube and comes across as a thoroughly nice bloke to boot. That's most likely how he got to work with Spitfire and then Take That's Gary Barlow via an intro from the inimitable Christian Henson co founder of Spitfire.

@rowegardner9673Ай бұрын
Yes and please go crazy with weird articulations that can be useful for horror games/films if you do a choir library!! Side note: I think they’d knock a full horror library out of the park with their attention to detail and it’s hard to find good, performable vocal sounds for horror.
@DesoloZantasАй бұрын
Does this mean we can expect a full Solo Strings library equivalent to the Brass in the future? If so, please, oh please, include articulations where the strings are incredibly tight and short. I often write fast and agile pieces, and while legato might struggle to keep up, having short notes that can convincingly mimic rapid movements would be a lifesaver!
@fracturesoundsАй бұрын
Yes, we're dropping it next Monday, 25th November. It's very much focused on a certain style of composing, so no extremely short samples in this project, but like the Brass Brand Soloists the Legato is very fluid.

I already had all the Blueprint libraries but I'm so impressed with these and your paid libraries (I want solo brass, but I'll wait for next year's Black Friday sale ... a proper british brass band has such a beautiful sound and your solo library is totally yummy ... but I don't have a project to use it on until next year's folk album)

Same question by me. I reached the point were I grabbed 4 faders and an Arduino Pro Micro and hacked in some code from the NerdMusician here on YT. After the day I bought a 3D printer for the case, I thought it would have been better just to buy a neat controller. I mean my DIY thing is working but... add a display, add a sustain button... add RGB lighting. So what is it?

Wonderful library Dan! Good to see you back on YT. I am now installing this library in Kontakt 7. Just one question: making the frequencies under 100 Hz mono should help to getting less rumble in the low end? Just a beginner so I am just asking this question

Very appealing sound - will download. I'm already a solid Fracture Sounds fan and own most of your libraries. I have this question: when you showed glimpses of the Piano Roll Editor, I saw that the string chords were perfectly aligned, vertically and horizontally. Is this a setting in String? Or is it a Logic setting? In the past, I've spent hours manually correcting such chords in the past.

nice whats the slider box used for dynamic response? thanks
@fracturesoundsАй бұрын
Dynamic Response controls how much the volume of the instrument is affected by Dynamics Modulation. In other words, at 100% if you pull the Mod Wheel on your keyboard (MIDI CC1 or the Dynamics Knob) down to zero, there will be silence. It's a great way to fine tune how you want the dynamics to respond.
@darrenelkins5923Ай бұрын

Missing atmosphere. Would have been great if there was 3 knobs to adjust volume of each solo instrument separately
@fracturesoundsАй бұрын
We tend to avoid doing Atmosphere Layers for libraries with short articulations like this one, but we can certainly look at doing that for a future Blueprint with solo strings.
