If you made a beat with a sample that you didn't clear (don't get permission), you can still sell that beat. But you must then clearly indicate that the person who buys the beat (for example an artist) is responsible for arranging the rights (clearance) of that sample.

Selling it to an artist means you just used someone else's work for profit without permission
